Meike Eggers
I’ve been working in the creative industry for over three decades, with storytelling at the heart of everything I do. I write novels—including the sci-fi trilogy Cybionic—as well as essays and experimental short stories.
My narratives often unfold in the liminal space between fact, fantasy, and fiction. A recurring theme in my work is humanity’s paradoxical drive to both construct and dismantle reality.
Trained as a visual artist with a focus on lens-based media, I’ve initiated a wide range of art and media projects exploring narrative and perception at the intersection of reality, power structures, virtuality, and psychological disruption.
In addition to my creative practice, I’m a core tutor in the Master’s program in Design Research at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam. I also support companies and storytellers across genres as a writing coach and script doctor, and regularly share my expertise through lectures and trainings.

Stories open the doors to a deeper understanding of our world and, above all, our own existence.
