Just before the deadline, I decided to merge the last two parts of Narravity into the first three.

It’s always good to have a well-planned structure before you start writing. You can then completely change it after writing the end, which definitely makes the process more exciting 😉

And now it’s time to get ready to spend the next two days with my first test-reader, and I am looking forward to discussing feedback on my almost-finished manuscript.

Key Concept: storytelling as research and meaning-making tool

Every writer knows that stories have their own momentum: they unfold in unexpected, often stubborn ways, revealing connections and meanings that were not planned in advance. Like gravity shaping a solar system, narratives also seem to have an invisible “pull”, drawing experiences, memories, emotions, and imagination into meaningful narrative structures. This pull exists in fiction as well as in the stories we encounter in everyday life. Through this pull, everything we perceive is organised into inner stories and woven into a wider Narrative Web that shapes how we experience and interpret reality – and ourselves as part of it.

In this methodology, this gravitational pull is called Narravity.

Used in a creative Lab, Narravity becomes a research tool for exploring how stories guide interpretation and meaning-making, help imagine speculative scenarios, and, in general, shape our perception of reality.
